Rowing classes help to make an activity, which is often sidelined in the gym challenging and fun.

With rowing machines usually tucked up in a corner against the wall, rowing for most people is boring, as there is nothing to look at except the metres ticking by. In a class situation, lasting between 30 and 45 minutes, you will receive a warm up including technique pointers and safety issues, interval training, cool down and stretching. There is often no need for music as when everyone in the class is rowing in time as a ‘crew’ the sound of the rowers is musical enough. Like spinning, this class is as hard as you want to make it, so try something a little different and make some waves.
