consultation/fitness assessement
Before we start with any training, you will have a FREE consultation and fitness assessment with one of our trainers. This will identify any serious problems and ensure that your needs are catered for.
You will be asked to complete a comprehensive exercise and health status questionnaire. It is broken into the following areas: health goals, exercise habits, nutritional needs, lifestyle, structural health and medical history. This gives us a good understanding of yourself, your goals and your exercise/medical history.
In the comfort of your own home we will take measurements to ensure you have no serious medical problems. We measure your height, weight, blood pressure, resting heart rate and body composition (fat %), which is taken both electronically and with callipers. Later, we use these "benchmark" measurements for retesting to determine your progress to agreed goals.
Following this you will informally discuss your goals, current lifestyle and concerns … in fact anything and everything before booking your first session with us.
You are under no obligation to train with eg health|fitness if you do not wish to take it any further.
We will not request any payment until after your first personal training session.
